NBA LIVE – Allen 3 pointer Give Boston 12th Victory

The Boston Celtics are in action once again. But this time, the team needed Ray Allen to put pressure on a three-point basket to ensure that the Celtics did win. Allen took a pass from Paul Pierce and attempted a three-pointer baseline with 0.5 seconds remaining to hand the Celtics their 12th straight win by squeaking 100-99 past the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.

Philadelphia shooting guard Andre Igoudala had just hit a fading away jumper to score a straight basketball 99-97 lead for the Sixers who had the entire fourth period lead except during the final buzzer.

Pierce really did all the bait work when he faked a defender, then dribbled up the three-point bow then passed the ball to Allen who was waiting for the pass. The Celtics three-point specialist immediately drowned another as he wowed the Sixers.

Kevin Garnett missed the action for a second straight playing day but it didn’t matter as much as two great friends Garnett Allen and Pierce proved the duo were better than the other five teams. The Celtics are coping well without Garnett in the line-up as the team has won eight straight games …

Boston Best sports city

Each year there is debate about which US city is the most dominant in all the major sports leagues. While Boston has been in constant discussion this year they have truly cemented themselves as the best unsexable sports city in the US.

With hardly anyone leaving during the offseason the Red Sox are poised to continue their dominance this season.

Become a Boston Sports Fan

Being a Boston sports fan sometimes reminds me of battered wife syndrome. You were beaten, but you kept coming back. You were given enough to make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, only enough to ensure your devotion, but then you were sure and deeply disappointed. I don’t know why a woman will ever return to the cowardice of hitting her, and I often don’t know why I’m still a Boston sports fan. The Pats, Celts, Sox and Bruins make you want to love them, but it can sometimes hurt to remain devoted fans throughout all their chaos.

From a very early age I can remember him watching Bobby Orr and Esposito skate circles around other teams. By the time I was old enough to really understand what was going on, the Bruins were made up of some of the more amazing players like Middleton, O’Reilly, Pederson and Milbury. I used to love watching Boston play Montreal with my dad, but it looks like Boston is losing more than winning.

It’s great to see Terry O’Reilly beat other players, and it’s cool …
