Running 10k Races Will Help You Become A Better Runner

When you first start running you do it for fun. Maybe you started out as a jogger and after a while you want to take your run to a different space. One of the best ways to do this is by running 5K or 10K races.

A lot of people start out by running a 5K or 10K race because that means you really have to train instead of running just for fun. As people become healthier by jogging this type of racing appears to be within the reach of their fitness goals.

Motivation is another reason to run races. You’ll stay motivated even longer because you’ve decided to do something more involved. The 10K race is also very challenging, so it takes runners who are flexible and able to change as needed.

Some experienced runners use intervals as a way to move towards their goal of the 10K race. They …

Live Score NBA – Celtics Hand Spurs Lost Again

The Boston Celtics saw their 12-game winning streak beaten by the Los Angeles Lakers. And they also have a record-fixing 19 match-winning streak stopped last Christmas by the same team.

Boston Celtics Basketball

After they lost to the Lakers the first time, they suddenly got into the tailspin and suffered six defeats with some of them coming from struggling teams. This time, the Celtics won against the New York Knicks their first basketball game after losing to the Lakers for the second time. Will Boston repeat its misfortune show and start losing once again?

Boston took on the well-rested San Antonio Spurs at their homecourt, Banknorth Garden but were beaten by the oldest team in the NBA with a basketball result of 105-99. The Spurs scored 11 points in the last 40 seconds to win the game.

Roger Mason scored three pont field goals with 20.4 seconds remaining to give San Antonio the upperhand. Manu Ginobili then hit four free throws before Mason added a pair as Spurs increased their distance from Boston. It was the Spurs’ ninth win in 11 games.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Rarely used Matt Bonner to score his …

Bet on NBA with Boston Celtics in Atlanta Hawks

It looks like it’s the last major playoff run for Boston’s “Big Three” when the Celtics open the postseason against hosts the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett (34 and 35 respectively) are getting longer in gear and more prone to injury distraction, and it goes the same for keeper Ray Allen (36).

Even if the Celtics’ fourth seed has an experiential advantage in the playoffs, it looks like the Atlanta Hawks have the power to send the Celtics off.

The Boston Celtics won two of the three regular season meetings.

Boston Celtics (39-27)

The Celtics don’t know the answer if Allen can play until close to match time. The veteran keeper has injured his right ankle and missed the last nine games of the regular season, which was a tragedy for the team.

Pierce sympathized with Allen’s sadness. “It’s always frustrating when you sit outside,” said Pierce. “Ray …

NBA Betting Game 2 from the Boston Celtics in the Atlanta Hawks

Rojon Rondo will be posted on the sidelines when the Boston Celtics visit the Atlanta Hawks in Game 2 of Tuesday of the first half series. The Boston point-guard was given a one-match suspension for crashing into official Marc Davis late in the opener, winning 83-74 by fifth seed Hawks.

Atlanta built up a 19-point lead and then held off a demand by fourth seed Celtics and scored the final five points of the game after Rondo was knocked out.

Boston Celtics

The team missed all 11 of their 3-point attempts as top outside shooter Ray Allen missed the match with an ankle injury. The Celtics are back!

Tuesday June 17 final night will be remembered as one of the greatest nights for the Celtics, for the city of Boston and for NBA basketball itself. It was a night where the great Boston made history again, where every basketball fan couldn’t help reminiscing about the golden era of the Celtics and the meaningful legacy they left behind in the sport. Since this season’s Playoffs Finals is set between the all-time rivals the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics, it is hoped that it will be a great final, full of memories and emotions. And that’s what happened.

Who is the highest paid Celtics player?

The NBA Championship Final series has kept the crowd on the edge of their seats since Game 1, when Boston briefly thought about losing its captain Paul Pierce when he collided with team-mate Kendrick Perkins and had to be sued and taken out in a wheelchair with an injured knee midway through the third quarter.

However, Pierce returned in the final quarter when there were only 5:04 minutes remaining in the game, which inspired his team to finish with their first win of the series. They also secured a home-court advantage winning Game …

NBA LIVE – Allen 3 pointer Give Boston 12th Victory

The Boston Celtics are in action once again. But this time, the team needed Ray Allen to put pressure on a three-point basket to ensure that the Celtics did win. Allen took a pass from Paul Pierce and attempted a three-pointer baseline with 0.5 seconds remaining to hand the Celtics their 12th straight win by squeaking 100-99 past the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night.

Philadelphia shooting guard Andre Igoudala had just hit a fading away jumper to score a straight basketball 99-97 lead for the Sixers who had the entire fourth period lead except during the final buzzer.

Ray Allen and the Deadliest Three-Point Shooter

Pierce really did all the bait work when he faked a defender, then dribbled up the three-point bow then passed the ball to Allen who was waiting for the pass. The Celtics three-point specialist immediately drowned another as he wowed the Sixers.

Kevin Garnett missed the action for a second straight playing day but it didn’t matter as much as two great friends Garnett Allen and Pierce proved the duo were better than the other five teams. The Celtics are coping well without Garnett in the line-up as the team has won eight straight games …

Boston Best sports city

Each year there is debate about which US city is the most dominant in all the major sports leagues. While Boston has been in constant discussion this year they have truly cemented themselves as the best unsexable sports city in the US.

Let’s start with the Red Sox.

The Red Sox have had an exciting journey towards their dominating 2018 season. They last won the World Series in 2013 and since then have been decent but inconsistent. This year is very different from the acquisition of the slugger JD Martinez and the emergence of Mookie Betts as one of the league’s best players overall. The Red Sox was not only great this year but absolutely incredible. With the thrill coming from the back of the win and hot play with the Yankees, there’s no denying that there’s something special about this Red Sox team. When they beat the Dodgers in the World Series last October it became clear to not only Boston fans but the rest of the country that this is actually the best team in baseball. With hardly anyone leaving during the offseason the Red Sox are poised to continue their dominance this season.

Now the Patriots.

Everyone …

Become a Boston Sports Fan

Being a Boston sports fan sometimes reminds me of battered wife syndrome. You were beaten, but you kept coming back. You were given enough to make you feel warm and fuzzy on the inside, only enough to ensure your devotion, but then you were sure and deeply disappointed. I don’t know why a woman will ever return to the cowardice of hitting her, and I often don’t know why I’m still a Boston sports fan. The Pats, Celts, Sox and Bruins make you want to love them, but it can sometimes hurt to remain devoted fans throughout all their chaos.

I grew up in a hockey family and my father was very loyal to the Bruins.

From a very early age I can remember him watching Bobby Orr and Esposito skate circles around other teams. By the time I was old enough to really understand what was going on, the Bruins were made up of some of the more amazing players like Middleton, O’Reilly, Pederson and Milbury. I used to love watching Boston play Montreal with my dad, but it looks like Boston is losing more than winning.

It’s great to see Terry O’Reilly beat other players, and it’s cool …
